Apple Cinnamon Ground Beef Bake Recipe
One of my favorite things to do in the kitchen is to create flavor combinations that you wouldn't think would make sense. Add to that, my obsession with mixing sweet and savory, especially adding fruit to meat, and you have a recipe such as this one.

Full disclosure here, the photo you see is not ground beef, rather ground venison. However, I figured it would be a bit more universal to call it ground beef. I have used ground beef in this recipe and it works just as well. I really enjoy cinnamon and venison together, using spices such as cinnamon or nutmeg warms the dish up and gives it a more complex flavor. When I first started cooking venison my mom refused to eat it because she said she didn't like the taste. Then I made this and she loved it. It helps that it has apples in it, cheese, and Sweet Hawaiian Rolls.
The most recent time I made this, I used Pillsbury Sweet Hawaiian croissants rather than the Pillsbury Sweet Hawaiian biscuits. I twirled the triangle-shaped dough, rather than rolling it into a croissant shape. Either works.
This is a quick and easy mid-week meal that will make everyone happy, even your pickiest eaters. Trust me.
